Huo Shan Huang Ya es un té amarillo raro producido en el área de Huoshan, en la provincia de Anhui. El té amarillo es relativamente desconocido para la mayoría de los bebedores de té occidentales, ya que es una variante rara y especial del té verde. Este té fue creado, y rápidamente ganó en popularidad durante la dinastía Tang.

Se elabora con brotes finos y se procesa mediante cocción tradicional en sartén. Su aroma es fresco y refrescante, floral y vivificante, con una sutil fragancia de castañas. Una vez en el agua, el licor de té es de color verde amarillento; tiene un sabor suave y espeso, es dulce y recuerda al maíz dulce con mantequilla. El Huo Shan Huang Ya Yellow Tea es único y refrescante.

[EN] Reminds me a lot of Gyokuro Yamashiro. Very lovely tea with that buttery taste and very green leaves. Makes a beautiful white gold liquor.

[EN] Excellent tea, unique. Sweet and buttery, make sure to keep water below 80C otherwise it will turn bitter.
One of my favorites so far, a great way to introduce someone to good tea. Alot of flavour that is very easily likeable.

[EN] really delicious, nutty and vegetal taste, very smooth. Hard to over-brew as it's delicate tea, does not really stand up to re-brewing (its only downside) - perfect for gentle mornings, or a refreshing afternoon pot.
