Description
Wu Sandi Lao Cong is grown in China’s Fujian province in the Wuyi rock tea region, with its typically mild climate and abundant rainfall in the Wuyi Mountain range. These tea gardens are situated more than 1000 meters above sea level and are famous for their unique climate. Many of the region's tea gardens are located in rock gullies and caves, surrounded by mountains as a barrier from the elements; these natural conditions create a unique charm and draw out the floral profile of famous oolong Wuyi rock teas. Wu Sandi Lao Cong is produced from ancient trees that are 130 years old, the deep roots provide rich nutrients and unique character to the finished tea in your cup. Once steeped, Wu Sandi Lao Cong offers a brilliantly clear amber tea liquor with a rich, lingering, woodsy floral aroma. Its flavour is rich, sweet and complex, with notes of roasted nuts, floral undertones, and a smooth finish.
