Description
Our fine Wild Ancient Tree Black tea is a rare and unique treasure, as it is harvested from untamed wild tea trees. It is grown at an altitude of more than 2000 meters above sea level in southwestern China’s Yunnan Province. The 100-year-old wild tea trees are handpicked only in the spring each year, their ancient root systems dig deep into the ancient mineral-rich soil to offer unique, complex tasting notes and body. Once steeped, the dark leaves release a brilliant and clear warm brown tea liquor with a floral date fragrance. At first sip, you will be drawn deeper in with notes of berry, pickled plum, and cassis-characteristically wild tasting with a strong cha-qi and lingering freshness on your palate. |
