Honeybush es lo que nos gusta llamar un "hermano" del tan popular rooibos, que también se cultiva en la región del Cabo Oriental de Sudáfrica. Sus flores huelen a miel, lo que le vale a esta planta su dulce nombre. Honeybush ofrece una taza de sabor similar al rooibos puro, posiblemente un poco más dulce. Al igual que su hermano sudafricano, Honeybush no contiene cafeína ni taninos, aunque es rico en beneficios para la salud, como su contenido de antioxidantes y minerales (hierro, potasio, calcio), que ayudan a prevenir la anemia y equilibrar el agua en el organismo.

Este súper tónico es una bebida ideal para la noche.

[EN] I didn't like the rooibos on its own at all but this honeybush is delicious! When I feel like a lightly sweet black tea with no caffeine and no added sugar, I combine equal parts of Honeybush Pure and Decaf Orange Pekoe Ceylon (1 tsp of each in 400 mL) and the result is wonderful.

[EN] Wonderful tea!! Much better than rooibos in my opinion. This is my after work or any time I need to chill tea. This does not have as much of a 'mediciney' taste. Will be purchasing again plus the other flavored honeybush teas.
